With the online ticket lottery for President and First Lady Obama's fifth White House Easter Egg Roll on April 1st open today, the White House has announced that this year's 135th anniversary theme is "Be Healthy, Be Active, Be You," thanks to the activities on the South Lawn spotlighting Mrs. Obama's Let's Move! campaign. Above, a video the White House released today about the Roll, which features President Obama speaking by "can phone" with a little boy.
Mrs. Obama is also inviting elementary and middle school students to enter artwork in the annual Easter Egg Roll poster contest, which will be used as part of the printed program for the event. The First Lady will select the winning design, which must be related to this year's theme. The deadline for submissions is March 5th, 2013 at 10:00 AM EST. The White House submission page.
